The Chechen State University is in Grozny, Chechnya, Russia, by the Sunzha river. It used to be Grozny University, founded in 1938. From 1970 to 1980, it grew a lot, adopting new technologies and gaining recognition. It's a famous educational and technological institution in Chechnya. Notable alumni include Mangomed Bibulatov.
