Established in 1991, Kutaisi University's Faculty of Medicine is the first private higher education institution in western Georgia. Kutaisi Medical Institute, part of Kutaisi University, provides students with diverse exchange programs, practical teaching courses, and high-quality education following international standards. The institute offers Bachelor's, Master's, and Doctoral programs in three stages and comprises two faculties: Medicine and Social Sciences, Business, and Law.

For admission to Kutaisi Institute of Medicine , the following requirements must be fulfilled,

• Applicants must be at least 17 years old.

• A minimum aggregate of 50% in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology is necessary.
